Used extensively or at high heat, you will get iron in your food (which for some can be a good thing, for others not, especially if they are exclusively using cast iron cookware), but for a breakfast fry pan nothing can beat cast iron, assuming*
Cast iron is a great non-stick surface one it gets properly oiled permanently....called seasoning it. Frying eggs sunny side up you will get the edges nice browned and crisped a bit Once you have it permanently greased you only need a little bit of oil to fry things g
