I was in hospital several times recently. My son brought me in bottled
spring water as the hospital water tasted foul. I kept these on top of my
locker. I also got him to fill a smaller water bottle with EIS and I also
kept this on my locker and regularly took a swig from this. no one even
noticed.

In my toilet bag I also kept a spray bottle of EIS which I used on my face
and hands all the time.

Funnily enough the ward ended up closed for new admissions because of an
outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting among patients and staff. They said it
was the winter vomiting virus (in June???) but several patients thought it
was Cdiff. I upped the intake of EIS and had absolutely no problems.
