Well, I'm glad they've stopped Pat.  There's nothing worse than waking up in
the
middle of the night with your leg, or your foot, or sometimes just toes in a
full spasm.  Yeeooowwww!!!!!!!!  Fortunately, potassium supplementation solves
it for me.  So does the application of a heating pad -- but it takes awhile for
that to heat up!

AND me .     Placebos have never worked on me like they do with many. Ohhhhh
that power of suggestion.
Nothing else worked either, ie. mag oil on feet and calves or xtra potassium.
But lately, I've done nothing and haven't had any cramps for a few months now,
go figure. I had them at nite and when I was doing Pilates. Stopped Pilates due
to increasing back pain.

If it happens at night I would suggest throwing a couple of bars of soap into
your bed.  No need to unwrap but it must be soap and not a detergent bar.

I know it sounds crazy but it does work for many.

Subject: CS>muscle cramps

Lately whenever I try to exercise I get tons of muscle cramps in the subsequent
days.  When I use a product called First Endurance EFS (Electrolyte Fuel
System)
it helps a lot.  But it's very expensive.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for replacing electrolytes on a budget?
