WooHoo! I am ex VE3CKS (Ontario), VE2BLB (Quebec), F7CD (France), and also had a VE3 call when I lived in the states but I forget what it was at the moment. My first rig as a 6AG7 running at 4 watts on cw at the bottom end of 40 meters. I could not believe it - I contacted hams all over the world when conditions were good. I bought my first 6146 transmitting tube when I was a kid, digging trenches at five bucks a day (this was a long time ago.) I worked all week to get enough money, then waltzed into the store to buy my first 6146. I took it out of the box to look at it, and dropped it. It smashed into very small pieces. It took another week to get enough money to buy another, and this time I carefully put it in my backpack without taking it out to look at it. Sometimes superstition is a very good thing. Did you know that Mike D. is also a ham? I came across his web page some time ago, but I forget his call sign. He also makes sailboats! It is a very great pleasure to hear from you. What is your call, and Renee's? Thanks, Mike Monett SilverCell -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
