If there is any way to stay away from modern pharmaceuticals it is best. There
definitely are things that can't be treated holistically so modern medicine
takes over. There are just so many side effects and then take this pill to
counter act this pills' effect. I have never been one to take medicine anyway.
When I was a CNA doing home health aide I took care of a patient that had just
came out of the hospital. I saw a miraculous recovery with nothing but
homeopathy in 1991 and I was sold. That was when I lived in New England but
here there are only 2 health food stores that carry things and holistic stuff
is still limited, so I have to order my homeopathy from London. Thanks Jane for
bringing that up :)

When I had a tubal ligation way back - several women told me I would need a
hyster later as it affected other things later - I took herbs at menopause to
stop excessive bleeding - perhaps that may help everything else too?

Yes it is. If a hysterectomy is done before menopause the female hormones
have to be replaced. Estrogen, progesterone and testosterone levels will need
to be replaced. After menopause adrenal glands, if they are healthy will take
over making the reduced hormone levels that the body needs at that time. That
is how I almost died the first time as my adrenals weren't healthy and it
wasn't discovered until then that I had adrenal insufficiency. Anyway won't
bore you with more :)

"I love dogs. They live in the moment and don't care about anything except
affection and food. They're loyal and happy. Humans are just too damn
complicated."
