Hi There Sol - my experience with EIS is that when it stings it means there is
something going on which needs to be addressed by the EIS - to me it is a sign
that use of this product is necessary and or needed.
I suggest strongly that anyone using DMSO in their eyes they be very careful,
DMSO is a drying agent and thereby can cause the eyes to become dry, this
happened to me so I am sharing from my own experience.
Sandee, I really don't think the stinging that I experience is from the
cause you mention. It always stings my eyes/nose if droppered. Never
does if misted, and I instill about the same amount either way.
Experimenting, I found that straight distilled water also stings exactly
the same as straight CS. Since distilled water doesn't address anything,
I just can't see "something going on" as a cause of the stinging. No
offense.
DMSO in the eyes can be drying, if too much is used or if it is used too
often for too long a period, but I'm not talking about that. When there
are allergies or runny nose from other reasons, the slight drying effect
of one oz of CS with a little DMSO added is actually a good thing (for me).
