I used to raise goats and our family drank the milk and made cheese. Goats milk tastes identical to cows milk. The only possible difference is if the goat is fed something that would impart a different flavor. But then, the same is true of cows.
It's truly amazing how many people are prejudiced against goats milk. Without even trying it, they assume it tastes really weird. Nothing could be further from the truth. I hate to admit that I was one of those people many years ago and when faced with my first taste of that "awful stuff" took only the tiniest sip. Was I ever pleasantly surprised! We had a friend who had never tried goats milk but was absolutely certain that it tasted horrible. We made a bet with him that he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between goats or cows milk. At the time, we had both goats and a cow. We gave him a small glass of each. He tasted one, then the other, back and forth we went. It was quite humorous. You could see embarrassment spreading over his face. Finally he picked what he said was the goats milk. He was wrong. It was the cows milk.
