Why take HCL in a solution asks Beverly. "The Cure For All Diseases" page 296 says to aid digestion use a solution of HCL at mealtime. Betaine HCL is available but does not have enough HCL in it. "The Cure For All Advanced Cancers" by Hulda Clark also ups the strength of the HCL from 1% to 5% and she says to use 15 drops at mealtimes, page 140. I have a bottle of Betaine HCL tablets that I stopped using after reading that they are not strong enough to do the job. Also with a bad Esophagus I do not try to swallow any pills or tablets but chew them. I have had tablets get stuck and that is not any fun. Chewing the tablets would still leave some HCL to bother my Esophagus. I thought that if Cs could do its thing in 6 minutes that I could select times in between taking HCL. Because of a constant acid reflux I can see where it stopped the action of the Cs. It appears for us with Barretts Esophagus we had better not follow what Clark recommends for poor digestion until the Esophagus recovers. So I will try stopping all HCL for a couple of months like my Doc. says. I should have asked him how can digestion take place with no HCL? Brickey
