Thanks Mike,

I test my distilled water before making a reading of the CS water.  It always 
reads 1 PPM.
In effect, it is my calibration solution. To me, an acknowledged dummy on the 
subject, the increase in PPM after brewing indicates the CS PPM reading.  I 
guess, until something better comes along that is affordable for the average 
human, I'll have to stick with my TDS1.

Oh! - On the subject of the TDS1 PPM tester, does the TDS2 do a better job?  It 
costs more, but if it does a better job it might be worth the investment.
