Thanks, Marshall. I guess I was thinking that the distilled water would put pressure on the membranes to let some "stuff" inside the cells go through to even things out. Of course the water is really what has the mobility. I suppose enough water in the lungs would cause detectable edema (swelling)? Be well, Devour, Mike (the backwards one!)
