Based upon the reality that store bought distilled water is loaded
with surprising amounts of impurities I don't see any problem with
using 99.99% or 99.999% silver. Besides, how does one know for
sure how pure anything is unless one is willing to spend a lot of
money in laboratories. Furthermore and based upon a lot of personal
lab time, it's my opinion that assays are like opinions.

I have not done the calcs in a long time, but I think it is very far
below the threshold of toxicity. There is a total .001 other substances,
divided proportionally among them.
Many actual researchers think that amount of toxic minerals is trivial,
and does not justify the much higher price of the four nines
silver. Silver is available in purities so high that it is more
expensive than fairly fine gold. If one is doing very critical and minute
laboratory analyses then the ultra-pure silver may be required.
