Yes, CS works great for that. My husband is the only milk drinker here, and sometimes he's out of town for 2-3 weeks at a time. A little CS in the milk jug, and then shake well, it stays fresh a long time. > Also, does it keep vegies fresh longer if they are rinsed or soaked in > CS?
