Mike, As for me, I give it to my kids if they start getting sick, but not all the time. Just when they get an illness. It is my thinking that the antibodies that you are talking about form to battle disease at the onset of the illness therefore the CS shouldn't have an effect on that and merely helps speed the healing process. However I do not hesitate to use it topically In fact I keep a spray bottle of CS on the counter for everyday use.
