Hi Stuff, I have a gallon jug with the inside also coated--like making a film negative! Look closely and see if you were smiling as it snapped your picture--big joke. They say that by putting in a little H2O2 and swirling around, then wiping inside with a paper towel, the jar will be good as new. That's what I plan to do.

What I've noticed is that my Mason jar has taken on a dark coating. I'm assuming this is silver oxide. Since that happened my CS has consistently [so far] been clear instead of yellow.
