Many years ago when we moved to the country where there were no amenities,we had to dig wells.To find the water my father had an elderly man come and witch for it.he used a fork of a willow tree and paced over the ground in a criss-cross manner.He found the strongest sign and said we would have to dig about 30 feet;well, he was right, at approx. 30 feet we found it.Years later when I married,my wife and I bought acreage still out in the country.I thought I could do what that man did,so I got a willow fork and I got a fairly weak reaction in only one place and I guessed the depth would be at 25 to 30 feet.That's where it was.Some years later I had to locate a buried water line before we could dig.This time I used two heavy #9 iron wires,about 24" in length ,bent into "L" shapes.The small leg of the L is held in each hand with the long legs pointed ahead and parallel.I paced slowly criss -cross again until the rods would swing apart.When I crossed over where the pipeline was buried,the rods swung unevenly apart until they conformed to the direction in which it lay.I don't really know why this worked for me when I know of others where it did not.I've also had the ability to read tea-cups and cards with startling results.I don't do this anymore as I'm getting too old.For more years than I can count my wife and I seem to read each others minds and not just when we were together.Back in the '50s and 60s I used to travel to distant cities and we were still sensing each others thoughts.
