  Thanks, sol. How do you clean scale from the boiler?

  I kind of like Garnet's distiller - $99 is a nice place to start and
  see if it will work with this water:

  The GE page says activated carbon removes chloramines:

  Garnet's distiller has Coconut Charcoal filters, but they are at the
  output of  the distiller instead of before it as recommended  on the
  GE page. I wonder if it would make any difference?
