Hi James: Chances are, your friend drinking the 5 PPM colloidal silver would be better off.
The reason? Quality home-brewed CS, even under the best circumstances, becomes increasingly difficult to make correctly above the 10-15 PPM range. Another advantage: Titration. Volume of CS intake can affect effectiveness. CS, of course, is not like an antibiotic; it is not a targeting substance. My opinion concerning volume intake has been taken from working with a number of very ill people with viral conditions. Dosage levels start out lower, always every four hours, and increase to tolerance based on a common sense schedule. With acute and chronic viral conditions, the die-off symptoms can be monsterous. In such cases, increased dosage results in a reoccurrence of the herx reactions. Of course, your friend is even better off if he holds the CS in the mouth before swallowing.
