My wife's nails, all of them, have this color. It has happened in the last 4-5 years. She has recently been to a cardiologist and a pulmonary specialist and been given a clean bill. She has not taken anywhere near as much CS as I have. I have thought that CS might have something to do with it, but she doesn't think that. I have recently run across some info that it may be related to a little known and nearly undetectable circulatory condition and am awaiting more info.
She has a blue vein that shows up beside her right eye. Two female first cousins have the same mark. I kid her about inbreeding. Seriously, she does come from a small and localized religious group that tended to marry within the faith. Her lineage is all traceable to 2-3 counties in our home area for 150-200 years. Have you ever seen a "blue man" from the southern Appalachians? I have. It's inbreeding, you can tell because they are skinny with jet black smooth hair. So how much concern is this, re facial or other argyria, really? Has anyone with blue moons had grey patches show up elsewhere? sol Robert Berger wrote: > Marshall and all, > > I also have "blue moons" with blue streaks proceeding out towards the > ends about 1/3 of the way. > > That must be a form of argyria. > > "Ole Bob" -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
