Sort of, but the source of it is different. True argyria is formed by silver salts being exposed to sunlight, and reducing in the skin, then more silver salts depositing on those silver particles, causing them to grow at such a rate they become trapped.
Nails are the same material as hair. It is well known that one of the ways that the body gets rid of excess metals, heavy and otherwise, is by putting them into the hair (and nails). So what is happening is that the body is taking excess silver and putting them into the hair and fingernails, and thus a blueing of the moons. What I cannot figure out is why does the blueing not seem to move out with the nail as it grows.
