That is very cool. I live in a propane/solar home, and anytime I can use
electricity instead of LPG I save money.
I have been looking for something like this for a year or so.
Thank you, Jim

Re. the Easycook - I used mine very hard for years and years before it wore
out. Then I bought a bigger one, the electronic model. The smaller one
with its new lid is also used regularly. The electronic one can be set to
go for hours, the "clockwork" timers only go for an hour, but seem a bit
more robust. However, I notice they do have quite a long guarantee time on
the electronic model. One thing I have considered doing is getting a second
top for the larger oven so I can have either a clockwork model or the
electronic one, depending on what I'm doing. Or one could have a "clean"
one and a "messy" one for cooking things that splash a lot.

One thing I would definitely do, and that is get the little extension collar
to put around the top of the glass part so you can put taller items of food
in. It is a metal ring which fits the glass one side and the lid on the
other. The glass will go in the dishwasher, or you can just wash it in the
sink or put water in it and switch on for the fan to swirl the water around.
