A couple of years ago I ran into some articles that pointed out that viruses and bacteria commonly swap bits of DNA/RNA back and forth with the host and with each other. Indeed, DNA from GMO bacteria is part of some of the cells of our instestinal lining.
This knowledge gives me pause when it comes to accepting a new GMO therapy or food.
