Add even more at that time and it goes murky brown. What is that brown?
Add more still and it goes clear... more and TE sometimes vanishes
Strange.
So what to the chemist think?
Any metallurgists about?
I think maybe progressing though silver hydroxide and silver oxide stages
depending on how much available [radical] oxygen is added with the
peroxide to react with 'raw' ions..or mess with those anions?....both?
Oddball crystal lattices morphing?
Peroxide [ 1 to 4, be more and more ]
Early addition into un stabilized EIS: [before ions and anions find each
other]
1] white milky
2] brown murky
3] back to white milky
4] clear with heavy TE
5] Clear with no TE [and not much conductivity gain either ]
Late addition into stabilized EIS: [After ions and anions find each other ]
1] clears yellow
2] makes TE finer in clear
3] makes TE go away? [Don't remember]
Cleans black electrodes. [converts some sort of silver oxide into silver
something else ]
Makes them black again. [forms some sort of silver oxide out of silver
something else ]
..something that's probably in common with ALL the effects....somehow...and
4 or 5 different oxide forms possible...
Used in batch water to 'make' EIS:
Prevents conductivity gain.
Makes great big shiny silver snowflakes that eventually turn into black
oxide balls as the water turns yellow. [takes a long time]

I'll say it does. I added a 1/2 teaspoon to a gallon and it was like
adding milk to it. I waited several days but it never recovered and
cleared so I discarded it. What would the white particles
be? Initially I thought it was just small bubbles that would clear but
that was not the case. Is CS considered unstable for a period of time
after being made? I use 107 volts DC current, no stirring - make 10
gallons at a time in pickle jars and run the batch for four hours. It's
good clear CS but often a little yellow. The tyndal is quite obvious and
remains so.

First, wait for a few days.
H2O2 in unstable CS does some very strange things.
Then, as little as say, 6-12 drops per gallon generally does the job
within another day or so..
The more, the faster.
