Thanks Neil for your willingness to help. The scenario is as follows:

SIMS box is mail.spellnetwork.com. There is an MX and A record in my DNS for this box.
AMS box is mail3.spellnetwork.com. There is an A record for this machine since there seems to be a problem with 2 MX records for the same domain with the same priority. AMS will allow MX or A record only.
All account are on the SIMS box except "lspell", which is an IMAP account.
Here is the router entry in SIMS:

spellnetwork.com = mail.spellnetwork.com
<lspell> = [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This doesn't deliver the lspell account to AMS. Any ideas?

This forwards the SIMS local address "mapaccount" to the AMS box. The AMS box must be willing to accept relays from your SIMS box.

This may not be what you want to do at all, but you have not provided any sample account names for me to go on. Generally the more detail the better.
