You've received a lot of labor intensive solutions, but can't you just direct your
users to any of the zillion free webmail based accounts? I thought most of them have
the capability to retrieve mail from a POP server. Maybe I'm missing something, for
instance would the user be able to delete retrieved messages etc? I bet at least one
of those free webmail services is full featured enough to be useful. If anyone has
good recommendations on that I'd appreciate it.
