They even have a secure login for those that are squeamish about their password floating about the net. Of course you still have to trust that maiil2web won't do anything with your password...

I thought most of them have the capability to retrieve mail from a POP server. Maybe I'm missing something, for instance would the user be able to delete retrieved messages etc? I bet at least one of those free webmail services is full featured enough to be useful. If anyone has good recommendations on that I'd appreciate it.
