Is there a decent solution for using dynamic IPs with the Client IP list in SIMS?
I recently moved, and my new DSL service is now dynamic IP rather than static IP (Verizon doesn't offer Static IP to residential in my area, and after buying a house, saving the $15.00 a month by sticking with Verizon is better then going with a 3rd party company to get static IP). I would like to continue to use IP authentication with SIMS, but I need to figure out how to do it with a dynamic IP. Can I do a DNS authentication? At least that way I can use one of the Dynamic DNS services (which I will probably be using anyway for remote access). What solutions do you Gurus suggest? Ironically, I wrote a program to give SMTP Authentication to software that doesn't currently have it, so I could just use my own software... but I hate having anything extra running that I don't need, so I would much rather have a solution that works directly in SIMS. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
