Mh, POP before SMTP doesn't work for them?
Not for Verizon... but I totally forgot about doing that for SIMS.
POP Auth will work fine for my email client. Although it still won't work for my custom written email sending apps.
If your custom apps live at the same IP as your email client the answer is easy:
Have your email client check for mail every 10 minutes. Turn on POP before SMTP in SIMS and set the time to live to 11 minutes. Your IP will always be valid.
