It doesn't look like that will matter. I just telnetted into the server and attempted a manual send so I could see exactly what it was doing. I specified in my EHLO the exact RDNS string of my firewall (where the server would think I was connecting from when going via telnet), and it still rejected the connection. Its looking like this may have nothing to do with a PTR record, or even RDNS, and rather something else is wrong (possibly blacklisted from their server?) <sigh> that means I'm probably going to have to fight my way into contacting their mail admin to get a better answer. >Why are you using sims V.1.8b8?
