I am using polycom 601s and 650s in my system and am attempting
configure the digit map on the phone page of sipxecs so that users do
not have to press the Send key to dial. The suggested setting for my
dialplans on the gui is listed as: "[2-9]11|0T|100|101|011xxx.T|
9011xxx.T|1[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|91[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|9[2-9]xxxxxx|*xx|[8]xxx|
[2-7]xx"
This is copied [without the quotes] into the digitmap box and then I
set the Time out to a setting of 7 seconds [just to pick something]
and then resent the phone configuration. I have tried dialing numbers
and it does not seem to work. Am I misunderstanding something?
I hate these kind of questions and thought maybe it would be nice to
have a novice sipxuser forum to accompany this one to allow for more
basic level of discussions and understanding.
