Hi Max, I went with the 3.1.1RevB since it worked for you. I used the Device Files feature as suggested by Mike and it worked fine for me. The phone is working really well so far.
Based on feedback from a couple of people I've talked to so far, they say the quality is actually better than over POTS with our old phones. I was on one call for over 30 minutes. I am very pleased at this point with both the Polycom phone and sipXecs. Thanks to both of you for your help! -----Original Message----- From: Max Clark [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: May 29, 2009 2:13 PM To: Picher, Michael Cc: Tim Byng; [email protected] Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Problems Adding Polycom 320 I went with 3.1.1RevB and it solved my problem I haven't tried newer yet. When I did this via the "device files" process sipx created a subdirectory and did not update the pointers to the sip.ld. I manually extracted to solve the issue short term and need to revist to come up with an appropriate fix. -Max On Fri, May 29, 2009 at 10:26 AM, Picher, Michael <[email protected]> wrote: > Actually, I wouldn't unzip those files manually into that folder... use the device files feature provided in the devices menu. > > Mike > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] [mailto:sipx-users- >> [email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Byng >> Sent: Friday, May 29, 2009 11:54 AM >> To: 'Max Clark' >> Cc: [email protected] >> Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Problems Adding Polycom 320 >> >> Thanks Max!
