We've rolled out about 25 Polycoms of various models 320/330/450/550/650 with
3.1.2RevB
and sipX 3.10 and they've been rock solid for the most part. Good to know
about the pointers to sip.ld in 4.0.

Hi Max,

I went with the 3.1.1RevB since it worked for you. I used the Device Files
feature as suggested by Mike and it worked fine for me. The phone is working
really well so far.

Based on feedback from a couple of people I've talked to so far, they say
the quality is actually better than over POTS with our old phones. I was on
one call for over 30 minutes. I am very pleased at this point with both the
Polycom phone and sipXecs.

Thanks to both of you for your help!

I went with 3.1.1RevB and it solved my problem I haven't tried newer
yet. When I did this via the "device files" process sipx created a
subdirectory and did not update the pointers to the sip.ld. I manually
extracted to solve the issue short term and need to revist to come up
with an appropriate fix.
