Wanting to know if anyone has experienced multiple power supply failures on an AudioCodes Mediant 1000? I have blown 3 of them. 2 on one chassis and 1 on a second chassis that was air lifted here. I am on my last power supply and chassis.
Here is my setup, I have a PRI line coming into the AudioCodes that is on a rack which is grounded. I have even grounded the unit directly to the rack after the second power supply fried. Still did not help. The AudioCode is directly connected to a UPS which also has POE Switches, a Dell Server (SIPX), and a couple routers plugged into it. None of the other equipment is getting fried. Only the AudioCodes. As a last resort, I have change the straight through wire coming from the PSTN to the PRI module and also connected the AudioCodes directly to a surge protector that is connected to a wall outlet instead of the UPS. Our Vendor is looking into it with AudioCodes, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this kind of problem with AudioCodes?
