I think the post he had about power problems and some of the replies he received indicated he had taken more than adequate precautions. He and some others were experiencing multiple failures. Most likely a quality control or manufacturing defect and the product remained in channel as well as warranty replcement in the rma process, which was very unfortunate. ============================ Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431

Some other thoughts on that post. If a piece of hardware keeps blowing power supplies, it could be something other than the power supplies as well. For sure, make sure that the device is on an adequate UPS. A good quality UPS isn't only for power backup but it will keep the power clean and filtered. You might have dirty power coming into your location which could be hurting your gear. Another thing is to check the connections between power supply and what ever it is connecting to. Make sure that there is no build up or bad soldering or anything else which might cause the power supply to pop because it can't do what it needs to. When power supplies continuously fail, it's not always a given that it's the cause, it could simply be the result of something else. My 2 cents based on being a hardware guy for a long time :).
