Sorry for the delayed response.. I did not do anything manually in
/tfptroot other than see what files were there (ls -al) and read the
readme to see what version was there. I strictly used the web
Sipconfigure 4.2 interface.

By not being able to duplicating this are you saying.. I should be able
to have two entries listed on the Device files page with loaded zip
files in each for Polycom phones with different versions of the
firmware?

I have not been able to duplicate this.

 

At any time did you touch or manually put any files in tftproot? Before
you deleted the files did you verify they had the proper ownership and
permissions? I've seen this type of behavior when people either uploaded
or unzipped files in there manually, so I have to ask.

it also sounded like you had an internal error, you might want to check
 /var/log/sipxpbx/sipxconfig.log
and post the error message.
