Cristi, Thanks for the reply. I added the parameter, restarted fs (sipxproc -r FreeSWITCH), and verified that the parameter is applied (i.e. present in /var/log/sipxpbx/freeswitch.xml.fsxml file). Nevertheless, there is no re-invite still... I captured network traffic via tcpdump. And using wireshark i can hear that both sides do send fax tones. Would you like me to provide the whole snapshot? Rgds, Nikolay.

The patch is in, reinvite should have taken place, I don't know why it doesn't, I'll look into it. Meanwhile, can you please add <param name="enable-t38" value="true"/> in {sipx_install}/etc/sipxpbx/freeswitch/conf/autoload_configs/fax.conf.xml and give it another try? I installed "a snapshot version" of sipx: 0.0.4.3.2-62363c1 2010-11-07T04:02:55 build27 on a virtual machine, configured fax extention 301 for a user 201. Registered Audiocodes mp114 fxs as another user - 203. mp114 is configured to switch to t38 using reinvite. So the first test is to send fax from 203 to 301. I call from 203 to 301, hear fax tone. But fax machines are not connected. In the trace (attached) one can see, that there is not re-negotiation (re-invite) from sipx to switch media from audio to "image udptl t38". I looked at http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-8645. And see, if i understood correctly, that there should exist a patch to enable "t38 reinvite". Is it included in the version i installed? Should i be patient and wait a bit? Please advise...
