This is similar to a sip trunk. In this case, if your endpoints has G.729 listed first, your outbound calls to the PRI would be G.729. However, inbound calls would be ulaw. Its the sender that presents a list of codecs and order of preference. So the gateway goes down the list and the first code that is allowed gets used. On inbound calls the gateway presents the list and preference and the endpoint would select th first codec it allows. -M
