After talking with Tony, I unfortunately know I can't put a G729 freeswitch
license in the version of freeswitch that runs in sipx 4.2.1. I got Verizon to
up my bandwidth, so I can switch sipxbridge back to blocking G729. I can't
really do this at my low bandwidth sites though.
I have some cisco phones with mature firmware I can swap for those buggy polycom phones ;-) (cravats: cisco phones don't work with remote.. no, they don't) other issue is you can't do an attended transfer from a cisco to a poly. and LOCAL hold doesn't get you MOH. (putting trunks on hold does, putting local user on hold doesn't)

but, if you have a low bandwidth site, you might try..
