The template isn't a problem. In fact, there is no problem other than wanting to have access to both port 5060 and 5080 by any ITSP. When we asked for test trunks, we asked them to allow three IP's, one on each port. Since they don't have a GUI, we have to specify which IP and which port so they can hard code that.
Someone from their company must be reading up on sipx or someone using sipx perhaps suggested that we might have an odd network because I received a weird email from them yesterday. No, there's nothing wrong with my network but sometimes a customer needs port 5060 while other times, they need 5080, it's not my call. I think any ITSP worth their salt should support being able to change this as needed.
