You are right, contrary to V2.76 the V3.0 do not enforce a limit for the
catalog usage.
This is because I try to increase the range of use and this need some
testing to find reasonable values.
Obviously 45 degree FOV for the GSC is too much. This is because for
each catalog I use a maximum of 100 files per chart (the full GSC is
9500 files). The limit must be between 10 and 15 degree FOV.
