Good point John. Sometimes it's easy to get swept up in the accuracy
craze. I am actually trying to convert the winoccult catalog for use in
CdC for when I participate in occultations but I'm having some trouble
reading the binary data. When I have the conversion program and catgen
project file ready I'll post them.
In the meantime I did get UCAC2 working although I did not change the
importer to add star identifiers. That makes the catalog useful for star
hopping and object idenification but not for looking up UCAC2 stars or
writing about them.
