Ok how it worked was away was set for a short time of inactivity unavailable
was set for a longer period of inactivity. So basically it did the same
thing. So how do I as a user know if your just away because your reading a
book and haven't done anything with your computer or you set yourself that
way? I don't. so I give you a call if you answer wonderful if you don't
then if you have voice mail I leave you a message. Otherwise I try calling
you back at a later time.
The good people at skype far from being brain dead decided that there wasn't
much point having two status indication that ment the same thing so away
was kept and unavailable was scrap.

hello
i also get people call me when i am away.
i try to avoid this myself as the person could be otherwise engaged and
unable to chat on skype.
in version 3.8 there was another option that is not on 4.2 this option was
called unavailable.
this to most people that have and use common sense would be aware that the
person will not be able to answer them so they have the option to leave a
voicemail or call back another time.
why oh why was this option removed?
what brain dead person came up with the bright idea of removing one of the
most easily recognised options of whether a person is able to accept calls
and texts from fellow skype users.
it would please me so much if the unavailable option could be reinstated.
no need to remove any of the other options either.
i have also had people taking a chance and calling me when i am set to
invisible mode so please bring back the unavailable option..
i am sure this would be welcome by more people on here than just me

Yvonne
