Yes, the are the planned replacement and I would consider the JDBC stores obsolete as soon as a migration tool exists. I will write such a tool, but there no time table. But you could use it for example for the Lock store. Also nice for testing. But not essential. Btw. in SQLServerSchema.sql: Why is URI_STRING in URI not UNIQUE? A short glimpse over StandardRDMBS does not show any protection against a concurrent creation of two URI_ID for the same uri. Also there are some more unique constraints uncommented.
