For the upcoming 2.0 what tasks are still to be accomplished?
What about the restructued client? Is it in a state that allows a release?
I would suggest to start by splitting the client and the server releases as well. I mean: if we are ready to distribute the server, but not the client, we do that: release one and not the other.
This increases parallelization since there are no cross dependencies between the two sets.
Let me sum up. These would be our releases:
1.) Full source and everything 2.) Full Server binary release: libs/war 3.) Tomcat 4.x bundle including autentication 4.) Tomcat 5.x bundle including autentication 5.) Client
How would a client release look like? Who would take care of creating one (as I have no idea about it)?
Concerning the Tomcat bundles. We should add docs and some info it those as well, shouldn't we?
