Hi Chuck, Rachel,
I have to disagree with Chuck on this one;
Some of the guys here use Win95 and others are using Win NT on the same spec
hardware with stacks of memory and hard disk space.
Given the same set of (Win)programs to run in the same order, the Win 95
guys can't run all of them because they run out of memory, real, virtual or
otherwise.
I have to reboot my NT box every week because the fonts disappear.
I only need to reboot my Linux/Unix boxen when we need to switch off the
mains for extended periods or upgrade the kernel.
Go figure.
