I consider Latex as no more difficult as any other word processor, but
then I did start with Spellbinder on CPM with only .Y & .YT for
formatting.

You are starting to talk application development?
Are you proposing this for CB as well?

This is exactly what happens everywhere. A great simple text based
app, working wonderfully, cost thousands of dollars to convert and
maintain as a badly working GUI.

Don't bother. 1-Just make sure the boxes are in his office, or 2-Pile
all the junk together so it is an obvious eye sore, particularly where
senior management can see it {:-) - a decision will be made.
