You obviously dont use Telstra ADSL. It was just as bad before that
happened. And why on a national network do they have a single point of
failure like that. Isnt any wonder it is slow when I send a packet 5km
accross sydney and it goes via victoria. Just as well Telstra isnt running
state rail.

I suspect ADSL will be OK with time. But I think it is stating the obvious
that there is a problem with the way Telstra is managed and as at a
practical sense it has a monopoly on the ADSL service it is everyones
problem
