Well, unfortunate choice of phrase then. I think the concept of a SIG is
well enough understood.
I said A & B to generalise it. It has been done before elsewhere and on
this list. You were just the unfortunate bunny to post it first. As Ken
said - it seems to be human nature.

Naah- I'd prefer that Craig just be given to go ahead.
The list can stop talking and decide whether they are going to turn up.
Or even better, someone else can volunteer to organise another Sig, or a
Fest, or a ????
If the list continues talking about Craig's offer. it will just be
picking the entrails until nothing is left. Encouraging continuous
discussion is an old political trick to discourage people - I'm not
saying that is what you are doing - just pointing out that the end
result is nothing happens.
So - a CC to Slug committee to ask them to make a quick decision
accepting Craigs offer.
