Probably too late to repartition.
Here are some additional but not entirely helpful suggestions:
o) Install more RAM
o) Use Ion instead of <insert latest wm here>

o) stop using computer
o) find and remove lines in /etc/lilo.conf similar to the following:
append="mem=16M"
