Fortunately there are far more competent ppl than me who could put distros together. Isn't there a ubuntu developer on this list? Now there's someone who might want to take the idea up.

Fine, but what does the name tell you - nothing... You wouldn't even know it was Linux let alone what its target use is. Even on their web site they find it necessary to explain the meaning of the word. All nice touchy feely motherhood stuff that says nothing and certainly doesn't provide guidance for the prospective Linux switcher. I won't even bother to describe my own reaction when I first heard the name...
