IMNSHO any install with more then one PC requires a router.
Then you don't have to mess with their problems on their computers.
If there is a problem you unplug all units from the router plug in
your laptop and show them it's working good and if they want you to
fix their broken computers then it is on the clock.

This way also you don't get their local network traffic out on your
wireless network. If they fuss about paying that price for the router
(we sell routers for $63 /w 4 port switch in them) then simply just
ask them if they want anyone on the internet and on your wireless
network to have unhindered access to their computers ?
